Palatka, Florida - The Basileus and his former fiance have broken up. As such, the Basileus plans on signing into decree a Regal Divorce returning the Polis of Palatka to the US and revoking the role of Basilissa from Shantiriya Golden, formerly Archon of Palatka. She had already left the first Hellenistic era Discord server (accidentally leaving the Basileus roleless in the process and starting an era of instability in the ability to get a Discord server up) and the Basileus states, "We have not contacted each other in a long while." 

Mediator General Election in the LIN

Little Avalie, Nexan Republic - The Mediator General election runs from April 4th to 6th in the LIN. The Basileus is running against incumbent Tyler Mullins for the second time, current polling data suggests the Basileus has a 4-to-5 vote lead on Tyler Mullins, which is enough to bring the win to Alexandros. The Basileus is promising reforms, including a new template and the appointment of one Deputy Mediator General for each region. A speech will be delivered on the 4th to show the world what we can do.

Fall Reforms begin with major changes

The Fall Reforms have begun with major changes to how the Empire feels and works. First of all, the Empire's name has been changed to Hellenistic Empire of Cimbrun, with the Archonate of Palatka having it's name changed to Polis of Palatka (though the Basilissa will still hold the title "Archon of Palatka".) Secondly, the Empire has announced plans to shift from absolute rule under the Diadochist mandate to constitutional rule under a Parliament, the Koinovoúlio. Other plans include the Treaty of Palatka, the allowance and encouragement of locals to join Cimbrun as citizens, and plans for agriculture and aerospace developments.

Aurelia restored as an Imperial Province

Aurelia, or Avrília as it shall be known, has been restored as an Imperial Province, the Polis of Avrília. It claims the ghost town Picher, Oklahoma, which has twenty citizens who should be easily convinced of the benefits joining the Empire should bring them. Sage, Co-Ruler of Cimbrun and boyfriend of the Basileus, shall be landed Doux of Avrília and a local shall be proclaimed his subordinate.

In other news...

Harold Duighan has been banned from the LIN and rejected provisional membership after an event involving an argument between him and the Basileus, who was aided by the New Montanan leader conman. Ironically enough, someone imitating Harold (or perhaps an upset Harold seeking revenge) has teamed up with Connor Shaw to try and drive a wedge in the alliances the Nexus are involved in, conman being targeted in particular.

Archonate of Palatka created, treaty against religious fundamentalism in the works, second anniversary of August Uprising, other news

 Basilissa and Co-Emperor crowned, Archonate of Palatka created

The Basileus has entered a polyamorous relationship and has crowned his partners Basilissa and Co-Emperor respectively. The Basilissa, Shantiriya I, has been created Archon of Palatka, with the claim being her home and the net gain of citizens currently being none (though she will be asked to invite others to join.) This is the first expansion outside Mikrá Elláda Cimbrun has done, but expansion is only to be done through The Co-Emperor has yet to be landed but it is planned to be landed similarly.

Treaty against Religious Fundamentalism in the works

The Basileus has released Royal Decree IX, announcing a treaty with the working title Treaty of Palatka. 

This treaty is intended to have micronationalists diplomatically oppose religious fundamentalism and cults in the community in hopes that the hostilities will cause them to leave, not considering micronationalism a worthy option to expand outwards. 

It will also oppose such religious governments and religious independence movements as the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the Embassy of Heaven.

Second Anniversary of the August Uprising

The second anniversary of the August Uprising, which severely weakened the position of Arkovia (and it's successor state Promatia) from a powerful micronation to a laughingstock and created such fundamental groups to Cimbrun and it's allies as the LIN and ISAF, is this month. Many know Promatia for it's leader, Dominus, being in a relationship where he impregnated a seventeen-year-old, its claims on Australian Aboriginal land, and the usage of LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide, colloquially known as "acid") amongst it's leaders. 

Cimbrun's history in the LIN is long, and it's current head is one of the Basileus' closest friends and allies amongst micronationalism to the point the two consider each other father and son.

In other news...

King Father Muhammad Imran had the Delta variant of COVID-19 recently. Fortunately, he was vaccinated and had a quick recovery.

Crown Prince Phillip started his senior year at the local high school on 11 Metageitnon (August 19th). He will be graduating in either Mounichion or Thargelion of 700.2 (May 2022).

Cimbrun has become extremely active lately, with numerous people joining the Discord, most of them accepting citizenship or becoming nobility. Join it here.

Cimbrun returns from hiatus

Cimbrun has returned from hiatus as of May 24th, 2021 (Thargelion 13th, 699th Olympiad 4th year.) The LIN was extremely welcoming, and many allies have been recovered as a result. The return from hiatus occured following support of the Basileus after being cancelled by the Cupertino Alliance, who saw a slanderous screenshot and decided to ban the nation from the server.


Cimbrun is currently recovering its Advisors and its citizens.

Rivalry with Nichensburg declared

After conflict started over the legality of pornography that led to the Nexan Republic being dubbed Terra Hæresis by the Kingdom of Nichensburg, Cimbrun proclaimed a rivalry with the Nichensburgians. Ethosia was also diplomatically hostile with the Nexans, and though we wished not to be hostile towards them, comments were made.

Nichensburg is led by Ludwig Brienoviç, former leader of the infamous anti-LGBTQIA Brienia.

Vancouver Island territorial dispute occuring, Cimbrun applies to CA and League of Hellenistic Micronations

Cimbrun defends Nexan claims in Vancouver Island 

Cimbrun has started a movement to defend Nexan claims over Vancouver Island, which they call the Patriæ, after the dissolution of the Dominion of Vancouver Island led to a territorial dispute there. The Nexan Republic, or Nexus, has the oldest actual claim on the island, starting their claim with their foundation on March 23, 2015 (Elaphebolion 4, 698th Olympiad, 2nd year), and Cimbrun decided to intervene in the conflict on their behalf starting on May 1st, and things went from assertive argument to accusations of intimidation fairly quickly. Currently, thanks to the aid of Cimbrun and the LIN of which we are a member, the Nexus currently has the most supporters of any claim, with West Canada coming in close second and the VISSR and Cascadia currently tied for last. 

This is the second conflict the Hellenic Empire of Cimbrun has shown support in (the first being the Des Plaines Valley War, showing support for Wegmat due to occupation of an ally's land by Rodentia and Philmont) and the first where they have actively participated.

Applications to Cupertino Alliance and League of Hellenistic Micronations sent

Cimbrun has reapplied to the Cupertino Alliance and requested membership in the League of Hellenistic Micronations.

The Cupertino Alliance is a major alliance currently chaired by Logan Ross, leader of Aenopia. Cimbrun had applied in February but was plagued by inactivity at the time, causing their expulsion. Several friends and allies, including Monmark and Vishwamitra, as well as LIN members such as Novus Hierosolymus and Waterside Park are members of the Cupertino Alliance, and Cimbrun hopes to join this time.

The League of Hellenistic Micronations is an organization dedicated to micronations with Hellenistic culture, which makes up a large part of Cimbrunese culture. Cimbrun intends to enter diplomacy with the other members of the League, and will invite others with Hellenistic culture should it find it beneficial.

Prince Phillip of Hellas and Britain, known as Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh to non-Cimbrunese people, has passed away at age 99. Born into the royal family of Hellas, he and his family fled the country when he was only 18 months old due to a rebellion. 

He first met his future wife, Queen Elizabeth II of Britain, in 1934 and they started correspondence in 1939, the two were married in 1947 - he gained the title Duke of Edinburgh this way. The two had four children, Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, Anne, Princess Royal, Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex. 

An enthusiast of sporting events, Prince Phillip helped develop modern-day carriage driving. He was a patron, sponsor, or president of over 780 organizations, and served as the chairman of his own award, which serves as a self-improvement program for people ages 14-24. 

He passed away peacefully today, and the Basileus made an announcement:

"Peace be to thy gentle shade and endless rest, O Prince Phillip of the Britons. You were the husband of the longest-reigning monarch on Earth, something no micronationalist could EVER hope to achieve in their time. You were a true Hellenic prince, overthrown by heathens in your own land. The royal life, however, did not stop there, as you were married to Queen Elizabeth II of the Britons. You would have numerous children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who the Gods look down upon and smile knowing they share the blood of the last Hellenic king."

Opinion Piece: The Return of Tizian - Good or Bad? by the Basileus

Tizian is soon to be discharged from the mental hospital, and with that, the question rings throughout the scene: "What does Tizian's return mean?" 

I think it means our good friend Desslok has someone new to teach, to help improve. Tizian may have done some bad things, but I think the punishment - hospitalization - was FAR too much. He's only 14, and from my experiences and the Prínkipas' experiences in those places, he could've been traumatized. 

I say give him a chance, don't decide whether a man is good or bad based off of his past alone. I used to be horrible, but guess what? I'm at least semi-professional now, and every day, I improve. 

I do not approve of any conflict or war, but I say give Tizian a chance.

First draft of Cimbrunese Constitution written

The first draft of the Cimbrunese Constitution, a charter for the Basileus and the people alike that determines the basic functions of the nations and the basic rights given to the people. It will be unveiled on April 11th (tomorrow) at noon. The Basileus plans to make compromises with both sides of the political spectrum and numerous religious officials throughout micronationalism to ensure that the Basileus retains most of his power while still being fair to the people, upon which a second draft based off of the first shall be made. April 11th is to be celebrated as Constitution Day every year as well.

Drama in Vuaqava, Poll on National Anthem to be conducted, Cimbrun has applied to Cupertino Alliance

Drama in Vuaqava: GoldAxe Impeached

GoldAxe, former Minister-General of United Vuaqava, has been impeached after a controversy involving a breach of authority and threats against United Vuaqava's Minister of Diplomacy, a long-time ally and the Basileus' mentor, Desslok, as well as against the current Minister-General, known only as Florida. Basileus Alyx I was to serve as prosecutor for the case, but unfortunately, he couldn't make it in time for the trial. The controversy was just a small part of a massive piece of drama involving a micronation known as Tinakula, which is infamous for its leader, Afrasiyab Jamshaid, having started a tyrannical regime in the nation after losing two different elections. Minister-General Florida has publicly stated the following:

"As the former Deputy Minister General I have taken the office of the former Minister General.

I will strive to reverse the damage that he has caused to this great nation.

Vuaqava hereby revokes observer status and any recognition of the Progressive Association. This is the first step towards fixing the nation."

Poll on National Anthem to be conducted

A poll on the Hellenic Empire of Cimbrun's national anthem is to be conducted. The Basileus' current contender is Apple Seed, by Hiroyuki Sawano, with others to be added by citizens and visitors as time passes. The voting will start amongst the Advisors and Irikladis dynasty members at the second Advisory Meeting on the 28th, which will take place at noon CST. 

Cimbrun applies to Cupertino Alliance

Cimbrun, under the "Home of the Gods, Welcome to All" diplomatic approach, has applied to join the Cupertino Alliance. The application will be voted on in the 63rd session, and if we are voted in, we shall have two delegates: Basileus Alyx I and Crown Prince Phillip, our first session would be the 64th session, and we would be able to be upgraded to a full member in 2 week's time provided the Cupertino Alliance believes us capable. The session takes place 2 days prior to the first Advisory Meeting, and our acceptance or rejection shall be on the agenda.
